Stunt Artist Talk & Workshop

Educational and inspirational insight into working as a specialist stunt artist at Shepperton Studios, London UK on The Golden Compass movie, created for 'Who Thought' Educational Consultants as a holiday programme for students interested in film aged 10-11.

This 45 min interactive presentation was followed by a 45 min slapstick workshop to give a hand on insight to the world of flying stunts, one of the most physically exciting aspects of the film industry.

Focussing on Michele’s experience working as a flying stunt specialist double for Eva Green on The Golden Compass, the presentation covers the journey from audition as a flying witch character, through to promotion as flying stunt double, offering insights to testing of stunt rigging, flying choreography, costume and make-up along with anecdotes and protocol when working with celebrities.

“Simply sensational. Michele entertained and inspired one very lucky bunch of Busselton school kids today during the Who Thought 60 Seconds of Fame workshop. So professional and beyond talented. Thank you Michele and Head Over Heels, you’re amazing.” Julie Gardner, Educational Consultant

We have also delivered this content as a short presentation to The Smith Family' students as an insight to careers in the arts and as an online 45 minute presentation for the ‘Fact or Faction’ event presented by Shire of Capel.
